...To be perfectly honest, I created Cadmus with the intention of him being rather feminine looking to begin with, so this was almost disturbingly easy. That said, he was teased a lot for this as a kid. His classmates bullied him, tied him down, and dressed him up as a girl more times than he'd like to count.

But then he went off and became a Knight and no one ever bullied him again. =D

Yesterday we saw a bit of grown-up Vex. Well, here's grown-up Vice. Or at least a very early version of what will eventually come to be grown-up Vice.

He's an evil overlord. His family is very proud, but random nameless heroes are a daily nuisance for him. Thus, he keeps a handy vat of acid around for the explicit purpose of dealing with them.

Also to throw cats into when he's bored.

The comic itself was inspired by one of the quotes I collect every year from the NaNoWriMo forums. Specifically the "Adopt A Villain Catchphrase" topic. I have three lists so far, which can be found here, here, and here, if you're interested in adding a little villainy to your day.

Long story short, I have been having a rough time with life in general for the past few months. Turns out losing one's job has a tendency to do that to a person, especially a person with bills to pay (on the bright side, I loathed that job with a ferocity such as mankind has never before seen, so y'know).

ANYWAY. Godspawn will be returning. Godspawn will always return. I forgot how to quit things some time ago, you see. It's actually sort of a problem, now that I think about it. But whatever!

Expect doodles or possibly Simified GS characters or other such madness randomly posted between now and the 7th.

Yes. I have internet again. I also have a new printer/scanner! Which is good because my old printer/scanner hasn't actually been able to do anything but scan for the last year or two. And I kinda like printing stuff

I can't make any promises on when exactly the next update will come, but it's sketched out now. I just have to ink it, figure out how my new scanner works, and then clean it up and color it and all that fun stuff. Sooo...Friday or Saturday, I'm thinking. Saturday's probably a safer bet.

I am telling y'all all this because if I do then I'm accountable and I have to do it.

So I moved into an apartment pretty much the morning after I posted the last update. My internet and cable got activated on Labor Day. Got a coaxial cable and plugged in my TV so cable, yay!

My roommate did not have her modem OR her router, however, so we had to wait for her brother to bring it up.

The long and the short of it is that, no, no one thought "hey, why doesn't he just mail it! it'd get here tomorrow!" and we got it late Saturday night and OH HEY GUESS WHAT THE MODEM DOESN'T EVEN WORK ANYMORE WOO!

So, in summation, I have no internet. =P
Also, Godspawn's third birthday was on Saturday and I was going to put something up for it but LOLNOPE.

The only reason this page is up today at all is because of the miracle that is QuickTime's picture viewer...thingy. Which, for some reason, was able to open the corrupt PSD file containing panels 2 and 4 THAT I HAD JUST FINISHED COLORING AND CLOSED OUT OF SECONDS BEFORE IN GIMP so I could copy and paste very shrunken versions of them into Fireworks. Thankfully, they weren't quite small enough to be rendered unusable.

If not for those two tiny blessings, my laptop would probably be at the bottom of the pool right now.

Needless to say, I'm only going to be trying for one update a week from now on. Not that I've been succeeding in that endeavor lately as it is, but hopefully not having all the time in the world will improve my chances of getting shit done. Oddly, that is how I've always functioned best in the past. I'm still going through the adjustment period, though. And taking an online class. And doing NaNoEdMo.

I seem to have a problem getting Saturday updates to go up on time. I don't know why this is since it now only takes me two days per page and I HAVE two days between Wednesday and Saturday. I call them Freddy and Jim. =)

Anyway, this page was super funtimes to make because I forgot how to draw Dardanus and therefore decided he needed a new uniform. How does this make sense in the context of the story? Simple. Dardanus is finicky and has several different uniforms that he switches between. Except the first one he was shone wearing. He's decided he hates that one and had it burned. Also, Adelaide is back! And Farouk! And blood! Woo! I love blood! Which is good because there's gonna be a lot of it this chapter. Yay violence!

Anyway, I'm super excited about this chapter ending. Not because the next chapter is awesome--well, okay, yeah, that's a big part of it--but because this is the first chapter that's...wait for it...fully colored! Woo! Every other chapter has a crapton of uncolored pages. When I started this chapter I decided that such things were unacceptable. I'm proud to say that I have successfully moved past the point in my life where it's okay to post unfinished pages just for the sake of the story moving along a little faster. Some out there may argue otherwise, but they can SUCK IT. Me? I'm gonna go look at that folder where I keep all of the individual panels for this chapter. It's colored glory brings me such joy. :,D

Not even kidding. Back when all these characters were just scribbles in my sketchbook I got bored and decided to give a few of them quotes based on what I imagined their personalities to be like. Fourth panel, Virtue's dialogue--that was his quote. =) The wording has changed ever so slightly, I'll give you that, but yeah, it's one of the only quotes I decided to work into the actual script. Oddly enough, as I was going through my old scraps on DeviantArt, I found the piece the original quote was written on and in the comments I mentioned that he was probably talking to Dargan. Hah! xD It's not as amusing to realize that I probably remembered that when I was writing this scene, BUT it's still funny.

Fun fact: I turned 24 as I was coloring the third panel. ;)

And this time it happened again when I was just finished shading the third panel. Page 83 - And he means it, too

Cadmus being a healer makes his threats all the more viable. Actually, just the fact that healers exist has made the world of GS an incredibly violent place. It's more socially acceptable to jump out of your car and cut a bitch's face to pieces due to road rage because a healer can fix that in mere minutes. It's expensive, sure, but that's what insurance is for. The more violent you are, the higher your rates. That said, Knight's get free insurance. Vice's rates, however, are through the roof.

This is also why you will never see a Knight or any of the Godspawn use guns (against each other). Not only is it less fun killing people that way, guns are more likely to...well...kill people. Instantly or at least very, very quickly. Healers have kind of a tough time bringing people back to life.

BUT ARGH! Craaaappy page. D= Just fyi, a three panel page is not what caused the slow down. This thing is supposed to be six panels but I condensed it for the sake of saving time and actually getting this up today. That's only part of the reason, the rest of it is that it was my dad's and cousin's birthday this weekend and we had two separate celebrations for them. Even so, I'm disappointed I couldn't stick with my plan. =( So I'm down two updates. Oh well. If I don't have the extra time to make up for it now, I'll make up for it in October during those two weeks I originally planned to only do one update for.

Oh, right. Bracers. Yup. That's what Harper's wearing. I guess they're common enough that Dargan immediately knew what they were. Makes sense, though. I mean, Harper's human, as are many other Knights. They've gotta have something to keep up with all the Godspawn/demigod/semigod Knights. Buuut in this case Dargan's a little bit off. Harper's bracers do more than just enhance her strength. Like being wonderful fashion accessories! =D That have GOT to chafe! I mean, seriously, she's essentially wearing pieces of metal around her neck, arms, and ankles. That can't be super comfortable. D=

I disapprove of late updates. D:< Today's update will be up late Thursday/early Friday and this Saturday's will go up either late in the day or on Sunday morning. It's just a matter of keeping myself going. On a related note, I have become aware of the fact that I may have ADD, which might be why focusing and keeping motivated for long periods of time (say, to sit down and sketch/ink/color a page of GS) is so frustratingly difficult for me. Just recognizing the symptoms has been fairly effective in keeping me on task for now, but I will have to go see someone about it eventually to find out exactly what's what and such. Soyeah. Funtimes.

Chapter two no longer lies about Dargan's hair color. Although...looking at the very last page I did, unless you look at the two colors side by side I'm pretty sure few, if any, people would've actually noticed. But whatever, it's already done.

It's more than just his hair, though. I've been meaning to update several pages for a while now but just never got around to it. No worries, they're mostly just aesthetic changes. A couple pages had some dialogue reworked (namely that page where Farouk and Vain talk about how everyone's staring when there's no one else around), but nothing significant. In total, twelve pages were revised: pages 36-41, 44, 47, 48, 52, 54, and 68. In other words, July 19th-Aug. 5th, 19th and 27th, Sept. 2nd, Oct. 14th, and Nov. 4th, 2009 and April 10th, 2010.

I'm sooo glad I don't have this hanging over my head anymore. =3

That kid looks like a girl. A girl who is also a pixie. I blame this on the fact that I had to give him awesome hair. Also, he's a child. Children are just naturally androgynous looking.

Oh me oh my, did I just update a couple hours apart? Turns out shit gets done faster the more I want to do it. Not that that's...really anything new. I just figured I was going to get the last page done and then play the Sims, but I had the strange urge to color so I finished the next page instead. It went up today instead of Saturday because, starting this week, I'm updating Saturdays and Wednesdays for the next two months. Then it's down to every Saturday and every other Wednesday in October, just Saturdays in November (NaNoWriMo anyone?), and back to Saturdays and every other Wednesday in December. For those of you who didn't meticulously work it out on a calendar like I did, that means I will reach my goal of 52 updates (that's 109 total GS pages) on Christmas day. Didn't even plan that, but it's kind of awesome I think. I also plan to tack on an extra update so page 110 can go up on the last day of 2010 and page 111 can go up on the first day of 2011. Because I'm just that much of a dork. ;D

And that is why the "Pages Owed" counter is gone. =3

Hey, only a day late! Impressive if you consider that it usually takes me two days to color and I only started coloring this yesterday afternoon. Apparently procrastinating on cleaning my godawful mess of a room is good motivation.

So who else here would love to have Lycidas as their legal guardian right now? What, no takers?

*cough* Anyway, I forgot how to draw Cadmus and Dargan. Oh the shame! There was a lot of running upstairs and then downstairs again to check my laptop (which was still in the den at the time) because I have no idea where any of my older sketchbooks are at the moment. And it became a bit more complicated when I realized that I never actually drew a decent up-close picture of Cadmus. So...I actually still don't know if he looks right. But this is what I'm going off of from now on, so oh well!

...who the hell names their kid Lycidas anyway? A Milton fan? Seriously, it's weird. Also, I seem to have a natural distrust of broad men with facial hair. First Dardanus and now Lycidas. I think I have a problem. Although by the looks of it, Dargan probably does by now, too.

Unbelievable as it may be, yes, I'm still breathing. That was kind of an impromptu hiatus now wasn't it? I hope y'all will forgive my time spent somewhere other than the face of the planet. I'm out of the apartment now and my furniture is set up here at the house, but my junk is still in several heaps occupying space on my bedroom floor. And some in the dining room. So, there's still a lot to do here on my end, but I hope to have at least one update ready for Saturday.

Well that took longer than expected. I did get my room cleaned out, though! Nothing else should be quite so daunting so it's all downhill from here.

I mean, y'know, until I get to the actual moving part.

Regardless, we have come to the end of chapter three and that makes me happy inside. Unfortunately it's taking the place of the update that was supposed to go here so...yeah...the counter is back up to nine again. *cough*

Well, anyway...I actually don't have much to say about this page. Aside from the fact that I now realize Libya has been named in the comic and therefore needs a profile of some sort. It will be filled with nothing but blankness but I JUST did Marisela's and Virtue's. I'm kinda pissed about that. Screw it, I'm going to bed.

Haven't been on a computer since Saturday morning. I feel so...deprived! D= Obviously I got busy a tad sooner than I expected so the last page of chapter three is super late, but it's short and so should be easy enough to get posted by sometime tomorrow. I've knocked the "pages owed" thingy down to eight pages. It technically should be seven (after tomorrow), but I anticipate not being able to update this weekend. I am determined to get my frikkin' closet cleaned out by this Saturday so there'll be little time for comicking. Half of it has taken me three days. There's still another half and a whole top shelf to deal with. Then it's on to my desk full of junk, two dressers full of old clothes, everything sitting on top of those three objects, the bookshelf in the corner, everything on my walls including the four shelves we put up years ago, and finally the shelf-like area cut out of the wall above my closet where there are currently a ton of old stuffed animals looking down on me. Then of course there'll be furniture moving and possibly shelf taking down...ing...and maybe some painting, too, since, although I do love the clouds in here, I think it's time for a change. I was thinking maybe a nice pale sage green. But that'll come later.

Point is, I'm busy and updates are going to be sporadic for a little while. Our lease is up on July 31st and both my friend and I intend to be settled into our new places before then, so hopefully by August things should be back to nor--uh, I should be updating on time on a regular basis. Someday that'll be normal. ^^;

-It amuses me that Marisela's hair turned out to be cranberry colored. I don't know why.
-Vex now has competition for her rank as the cutest character in the comic.

Gonna do the double update next weekend. Trust me, it makes more sense.

I'm also going to try to actually talk about the pages themselves in these posts and less about how I fail at updating on time. Well, that and site updates and mild alterations to past pages (which are planned, but only to the extent that some panels get rearranged, some colors getting added, etc.). On THAT note:

Epicest. Page. Ever.

In GS's history anyway. Yes, that's Genetrice. Yes, it's orbiting the planet. Yes, I used a lot of brushes trying to effectively create the stratosphere. It took more doing than I thought it would and it probably would've worked out a lot better if I had discovered the lasso tool sooner. Up until now I was just coloring the old fashioned way which is murder on my wrist. I always knew of the trick to select the area with the lasso tool and fill it with whatever color you want (or take away that color; also super useful since I no longer have to work around that using some extremely complicated method involving Fireworks to make backgrounds show up properly)--but for some reason I always thought it was too hard or it would take longer or...something. Yeah. No. It takes far less time, it's way easy, and it doesn't destroy the health of my right hand. I felt like such an idiot when I realized I'd been doing it the hard way all this time.

Next week we visit Farouk for a couple of pages before abandoning him again for chapter four! Yaaay!

Sorry guys, the double update is going to be next weekend. Not a single update this week either, so even after next weekend I'll still owe eight pages. To be perfectly honest, the pages were going to be late anyway. But as I woke up sick this morning (truly sick for the first time since elementary school; my god, I'd forgotten how much it sucks), I've been confined to my room and the upstairs bathroom. No scanner for me, so even putting the pages up uncolored isn't an option. =(

On the bright side, the "active phase" of it seems to be over at long last, so now I can just chill in bed and sketch out another page or two. God knows, I finally got all the sleep I was deprived of this morning. Now I'm just plain old bored!

For those who are curious, if I don't update today the pages owed will be at seven. My cap is eight. (That means I can't not update again until I make up for at least one of those pages, not that I stop adding missed ones to the tally. No, that would be counterproductive to my goal.)

My life continues to be complicated and distracting. There are now bigger questions than how to start a pet sitting business. Questions like, do I want to stay in Tucson for another year or move back home to Phoenix? And that kinda sorta has a MASSIVE impact on that whole small business thing. So...yeah. I realize I'm leaning towards one more than the other, but there's this whole question of whether that's what's best for me or if it's just what I want. Mmh, being an adult is complicated. Rest assured, though, that Godspawn will still update! It might help to recall that my goal is simply to reach page 109 (or update 52 times) by the end of 2010, not really to update on time, though that would be nice. Honestly, I think I may just change the update schedule to "Updates!" and continue to aim for Saturday each week.

I don't actually believe anyone really reads Godspawn. No, seriously, I don't. It's just that it pisses me off when other webcomickers don't post news updates when things are happening with the comic and so, on the off chance that anyone out there is actually reading this, I try to post news updates as often as possible. I admit, I forget sometimes but...why am I talking about this? It's 3:20am! I need to be responsible and go to bed on time for once.

I might owe more, depending on how this weekend goes. And next weekend. And perhaps the one after that. There's a reason for all of this, of course. As some of you may already know, I've been unemployed since I graduated last spring and I can only live on my own because my parents are paying the bills. The problem is, I need to find a job so I can help with those bills, so I'm trying to start up my own pet sitting business before my lease is up at the end of July. Not a lot of time to start a business, if you know what all it entails. If I can't help with the bills, I have to move back home. Thus, I find myself quite stressed a lot of the time and that makes it incredibly difficult to focus on...well...anything. Hopefully, once things really get going I'll stop...being broken. No guarantees. I'm a very dysfunctional person in general.

Easter Break

I am seriously opposed to updating this weekend. Sorry folks. It's just that I've been at my parents' all week and my little sister just got Sims 3 so we've been having "Sim parties" with her friend and then Script Frenzy started yesterday AND it's a holiday--not that any of that is an excuse. I should've gotten this week's comic done despite all that. Oh well, at least I can start tonight after my writing and get ahead for next week. To be perfectly honest, I don't think I'm going to do a double update. I think I'm going to get ahead and work my hardest to stay ahead and save this month's worth of double updates for a certain fast-paced scene coming later this year.

Also, tomorrow I'm drawing Farouk in bunny ears for Easter. Because it's cute and I miss drawing him. =)

Yup, loaded the page onto CG Thursday night and totally forgot to write up a news post for today. But no one cares about that, so whatever! :D

I completely rewrote this page just so I could start it with those first two panels. The bonus is that it all makes so much more sense now character-wise. Consequently, have you noticed how incredibly talkative and snarky Vice as been in this scene? He's fun to write no matter the situation, but I gotta say, he's a lot more entertaining when he's alone with one of his sisters. xD

Also, I went around the site and fixed a few things I thought needed fixing. Among other small things not worth mentioning here, the cast page images have been redone and a few more character portraits are up (Chaos and Despair, namely), though I haven't gotten around to doing their actual profiles yet. Also, I removed the "Information" link in the header. I kept getting it mixed up with "About" and clicking on that when I really wanted the info page. So I integrated the About the Author section and the Origin of Godspawn (Chronicles) section into the info page and yeah. It's better now.

Oh...GOD! I just spent the last day and a half or a more having my soul sucked out through a coffee straw on TVtropes. Aaauugh, the pain! I'm just...I'm gonna go eat something and then lie down for a while.

Okay, so no double update this weekend (aww), but I will get at least one update done. Lines sometime today, color on, I dunno, Monday or something. Also, there are a couple pieces of fanart that I never announced or put up, so expect something about that soon, too. Old pages still need to be colored, next weekend's (mercifully short) page needs to be colored, I need to drive 100 miles or so to get the laundry I left at my parents' at some point...as the title says, March is apparently the month of fail.

Next weekend, maybe a double update, but for the most part just expect delays and such for the remainder of the month. In the mean time...

Veelafleur entered a lovely piece of Vex and one of her little chimera pals. From uudie/Sennel there came a dark, yet at the same time adorable Vain. And last but not least, Harley Quinne showed up with a piece of Vex looking both cute, if ever so slightly scandalous...but in a very cute way. She's Vex. Vex can't not be cute. *EDIT2* Woo! It fixed itself! I have the joy! =D

Okay, NOW I'm just really pissed. CG is having issues with uploading comics via the normal route so I tried the workaround, ended up accidentally deleting page 57 in the process of getting last week's page up, and now that the colored version needs to go up the workaround isn't working. You can still get to page 57 if you hit the back button, but the image is corrupted. Last week's update refuses to update to the colored version even though I swear I removed the previous uncolored image/html.

Hopefully, tomorrow's update (uncolored until Sunday/Monday/sometime before next week's update) will actually be able to go up without things going completely wonky, but I have no control over that at the moment. Expect pages 57 and 58 to randomly disappear and reappear between today and tomorrow, 'cause that'll be me trying to figure things out.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go over there and repeatedly slam my head into the wall.

*EDIT* I'm not touching anything anymore. >_> The colored version of page 58 is up, page 57 has stopped being corrupted--but I still can't figure out why hitting the "forward" button on page 56 sends you straight to the homepage. If you hit the back button from this page, page 57 is there. It's just not showing up on the archives page or, y'know, after page 56. So color me confused. But this is the least borked it's been in a while, so I'm just going to leave it as is for now and work on tomorrow's update for the time being.

The lateness isn't my fault this time so I don't feel as bad about it, even if this is the start of the new update schedule. I slept in after staying up late coloring and writing the next part of my novel (yes, I'm continuing with it; I'm a writer, folks, this is what I do), so I wound up waking up super late. And then my roommate came home and announced that it was already time to go over to her brother's house and make glogg (look it up; crazy amounts of alcohol AND you get to light it on FIRE! =D). So I got home rather late and didn't have time to finish the last two panels before we left.

Yes, Chaos IS allowed to be naked. Mostly because she doesn't actually have any sexual organs. That there female shape is just for show.

Changing the schedule...again

After going through my ever growing to-do list and looking at the newer and futures pages of GS, I've realized that the only reason it was really possible for me to do two updates a week was because the pages all used to be much shorter and less detailed. I also used to use Fireworks, which made half-assing backgrounds when I needed to incredibly easy. I can't do that with Gimp. Quite honestly, I still have no idea what I'm doing with Gimp even after months of using it.

Updates are going to be once a week from now on, starting this Saturday with the colored version of page 56. I'll update the rest of the website to reflect this before then.

I have two things to apologize for now: one is being excessively late, the other is for not updating the news to explain myself.

Apparently I only have the capacity to do one creative activity per day. For the past couple weeks, that's been my novel. This is unacceptable, but I have yet to fix it. I'm trying, though.

So that's the bad news. The good news is that...actually, I take that back, there is no good news. With NaNo, Thanksgiving, my elder sisters' birthdays, and starting to get into Christmas shopping and creating Christmas lists and everything, I'm feeling pretty overwhelmed. I'm not even finished writing the script for chapter three and that has me really worried since this chapter is ending within the next few pages. I feel totally unprepared and stressed out, which is silly because GS is just supposed to be for fun. So, I'll try to play catch up with the last two updates IF I can, but no promises, that's for sure. I definitely underestimated how long these next few pages would be and how long they would take to finish. Page 56 will be Sunday's update.

Now I have to go try to catch up with my NaNo word count and reevaluate the update schedule.

Wednesday's update is going to be late, I'm betting. Or it might be up around this time on Wed, depending. Takes me about 45 minutes to an hour to color each panel, soyeah, we'll see.

Doing NaNoWriMo this year, so I figured I'd use this opportunity to set goals for myself each day, which includes GS. For now, pages will be late, but after a week or two I should start pulling ahead and then hopefully by December I'll have a buffer and very few updates will have to be late. I'm crossing my fingers that I'll be able to stick with it. xP

Schedule Change

With the onset of November comes the onset of a new update schedule. First off, this week's update has been pushed back to next week since it seems we don't even have the time to carve our pumpkin in this household. I have a crapton of baking and decorating to do tomorrow (eyeball cupcakes, festively shaped sugar cookies, maybe pumpkin cookies, a pumpkin to gut so I can dry out the seeds to toast tomorrow, and, of course, chocolate chip cookies...not anything Halloweeny about them, I just wanna make 'em for the party ^_^). In between all of that, I will be working on Halloweenish things for GS, which, sadly, does not include this week's update.

More to the point, however, GS should hopefully be updating every Wednesdayish and every other Sundayish. I add the -ish because...well, look at my record. The first update of November will go up on Wednesday the 4th.

Gaia Art Contest

The art contest over on Gaia started yesterday. FINALLY. But hey, I've pushed a contest back 7 to 9 months or somesuch in the past, so really, being a little over a month late in coming isn't all that bad in comparison.

I'm hoping to get page 52 and 53 colored this weekend, but no promises, not with Halloween so close.

Check for the update Thursday afternoon. I've been way too busy trying to get everything finished for the upcoming contest to do the next page. So much so, in fact, that my fingers started feeling tingly and rather numb about the time I was coloring the last of the refs. Needless to say, I am NOT going to push my luck with that.

I actually did it last week/earlier this week, but the About section has been updated with a new About the Author and the story of how Godspawn came to be. Ironically, I never state the actual reason I do the comic (funsies/practice), which I intended to do. But meh. Also, the Information section has been updated so you can learn all about priests in general and the genetics involved in fantasy biology. I will never be the most realistic when it comes to applying some sort of logic to a fantasy world, but at least that logic will have some roots in reality. Seriously, if you want the most realistic magical world EVER, read the Xanth series. I kid you not. I read some of the books in high school and my brain is still trying to recover. Also, the author's kind of sexist.

The contest on Gaia will start this weekend. I'm still in the process of putting together full reference sheets, but as soon as the basic pics are colored I'll provide a link to the contest thread. Hopefully I'll have come up with a better title for it by then. xP

I tried to resist the urge to put a reference in there that few would get without looking it up first, but I couldn't help it. x3 Albeit, at this point I still have no idea if I've made it clear enough what Vex's most prevalent ability is. But perhaps the reference to Echidna, the mythological mother of all monsters, will help to clarify. The "acid breath" comment isn't enough to really to indicate what Vice can do, but think on the combination of the threat "I'm gonna spit on you later" and "acid breath."

Of course, once the contest on Gaia starts this post will be irrelevant since I've outlined most of their abilities in the profiles I'm going to be providing. But whatever. xD

Edit 2: The devil linked me to TVtropes yesterday. Aside from a small break for shopping at the evil known as Target, mostly because I needed to eat and In 'N Out is right next to one, I was trapped in that heinous web until about 5:30am. Needless to say, color will either be up tonight or tomorrow and the contest will start on Saturday or Sunday. Plans, man, they change. ^^;

Is late because I lost my internet last night and said to myself "screw it, I'm going to bed!" The lineart should be up in about half an hour. Color will follow a few hours later.

I'm going to be a coloring maniac today and get as much coloring done on the ref pics as humanly possible because, damnit, the Gaia contest WILL start on Friday! I've also already started on a little Halloween pic and I WILL get the birthday art done at some point. I've been planning it for almost a year, I refuse to wait another to do it just because it's going to be over a month late. >P

Anyway, I'll edit this when the page goes up.

Page 51 - Big Brother is Watching

Seriously, spying on your little sisters is kinda weird, Vice. Maybe you should see someone about that.

Due to the fact that this was actually last week's page, I got the lineart uploaded to CG a whole two hours before it was supposed to update! And I wrote this news post early, too! Amazed? Yeah, me too. In fact, I'm a little frightened. This is so unlike me. O_o;

Color shall come later. The last two pages have been added to the chapter two coloring lineup 'cause, yeah, I took too long trying to get to them. Alas, now they're at the back of the line. Poor neglected little pages. On the bright side, I finally finished coloring page 28. It's...kind of messed up, though. Mind you, I've been working on that page off and on for God knows how long so I have no intention of fixing the obvious coloring issues. There was a lot of time between the coloring of each panel and a lot of them were used to experiment in Gimp, so there's a certain lack of consistency. Buuuuut like I said, I'm not willing to change it. So just go and laugh with me at its silliness. xD
